From a very young age, Valerie Errante had a love of textiles: fabrics, colors, textures. She began sewing her own garments while still a teenager, and as her professional operatice career grew, so did her sewing skills as she also made many concert gowns throughout her 35 year singing career. Knitting became a favorite activity during this time as it was “voice friendly;” as in silent!
After retiring from singing and university teaching, she returned to her beloved Munich and continued to combine her sewing and knitting skills by developing her own product line of textiles in Pudel Design.
Valerie is thrilled to be a member of Hands Gallery. The cooperation with like minded artists adds inspiration as well as a commercial outlet for her fun creations.
